General Internship Application

Internship Overview

MJHS Health System is seeking motivated, curious, and community‑focused interns to support various departments across the organization. Interns will gain practical experience in a fast‑paced healthcare environment while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about service and care.

The internship program begins July 13, 2026, and runs for six (6) weeks. Interns must commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the program. Interns are paid with two stipends distributed throughout the program, in accordance with New York City minimum wage requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with valid work authorization documentation. 
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in school to qualify for the internship program.
• Interest in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit work strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism.
