Responsibilities:

The Executive Legal Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Chief Legal Officer and the Legal Department, which includes Compliance. This role ensures the efficient flow of information within the office, manages sensitive and confidential communications, and coordinates legal and insurance documentation. The Executive Legal Assistant is responsible for maintaining organized records, supporting litigation and insurance processes, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and handling departmental payroll and invoicing. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams, external counsel, and regulatory entities, this position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a legal environment.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate preferred

Minimum 5 years office experience in legal office.

MS office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Computer literate

Able to type a minimum of 60 wpm

Ability to edit and proofread documents

Have excellent command of English (writing verbal, grammar)
The ability to multi-task in an office of busy professionals
