The Supervisor of MDS Coordinators oversees the MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessment and care planning processes across multiple units or facilities. This leadership role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, optimizes reimbursement strategies, and promotes high-quality resident care through effective team coordination and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support MDS Coordinators across assigned units
  • Audit MDS documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide ongoing education and training to MDS Coordinators and nursing staff
  • Analyze MDS data to identify trends and improve care outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in long-term care, with at least 2 years in MDS coordination.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred
