Responsibilities:

Manages Daily Medicare Part A & B billing, follow-up & collection for Inpatient Accounts Receivable Department. Additionally responsbile for the accurately completed daily, weekly, monthly assignments, and in accordance with established timeframes. Checking monthly trial balance for progress within the Medicare Aging reports to ensure timely collections of outstanding receivables. Reports daily follow-up of all open accounts on excel spreadsheets. Reviews & Completes monthly Medicare closing reports for Management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Three to Five years healthcare / inpatient NH Medicare billing experience required.
  • Knowledge of Institutional Medicare Billing Regulations and Requirements.
  • Computer proficient - DDE Medicare system, CWF, Excel & Word required. ADL/Sigma care, Ability-EASE & Assurance preferred.
  • Possess good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work high volume work load.
