Responsibilities:
This position will work directly with business users and Information Services configuration, development, and architect staff to perform quality assurance testing, provide knowledge and expertise to develop and execute test cases for and with business users, document traceability of test cases to business requirements, document defects, as well as work alongside and coordinate with other Information Services staff members and vendor personnel as required within the documented Test Plan. The associate in this position will also be expected to act as a Test Lead for assigned projects and provide mentoring to Test Analyst I.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related field; however, combined experience/education/certifications may substitute for minimum education.
- 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Test Analyst or equivalent role.
- Minimum 3 years Healthcare payer experience.
- Possesses a background in Healthcare payer business.
- Understand test plan and is able to clearly articulate roles, goals, and time lines.
- Ability to analyze complex tasks, systems and problems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in use of all standard desktop applications (Microsoft Suite of Tools - Word, Excel, Power Point, Acess, and MS Visio).
- Ability to understand, write, and execute SQL queries.
