Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of Nursing Care and practice within assigned areas.

Qualifications:

  • BSN required
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in New York State
  • Prior experience as assistant head nurse, head nurse, or instructor, or comparable experience is desirable
  • Graduate of a State approved and accredited school of nursing
  • Four years experience as a staff nurse
  • Demonstrated interest in geriatric nursing
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment and dependability
  • Demonstrates commitment to continuing professional development
