Responsibilities:

  • Manage the nursing units and ensure that they function properly and safely
  • Oversee the care and management of patients and ensure that appropriate care and treatment is provided
  • Oversees and respond to patient/resident/family concerns, issues or complaints
  • Responsible for unit staffing plan and work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels
  • Oversees and manages clinical care and emergency response
  • Manage employee performance and provide on-going coaching, training and development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years clinical experience, including at least 2 years of management experience
  • BSN from accredited school of nursing preferred
  • Valid NYS Professional Registered Nurse License
