Responsibilities:
Performs nursing and certified nursing assistant orientations and participates in ongoing staff development programs.
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing and Master’s degree in Education, Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of progressive job related experience, including Long Term Care, Medical/Surgical nursing, education and staff development, project management, and supervision
- Microsoft Office, Internet and E-mail
- Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Specialty Nursing Certification preferred
- Current CPR certification navigation.
