Responsibilities:

The Director of Business Development Operations is a steward for all internal and external business partnerships and representation. Responsible for supporting the Business Development Team with managing the operations for the strategic business relationships, manages partnership data and project implementation and maintenance, as well as oversight of operations for the Access Center, Admission RNs and Hospice BD Team. The Director works collaboratively with the Business and Clinical Leadership in direction, planning and standardization of the systems, identification of efficiencies and cost savings, coordination for all endeavors, with the goal to meet the needs and requests for the Hospice and Palliative Care partnerships. Director demonstrates visionary thinking, ability to provide innovative solutions and execution skills that cultivate organizational teamwork. Monitors financial indicators and ensures operations are optimized and compliant with all government and regulatory requirements as well as internal policy and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, health administration or related field preferred.
  • Management plus Hospice industry experience preferred with an understanding of the business, regulations and contracts.

  • Experience in project management, understanding of financial and implementation in a health care organization.
