Responsibilities:

The Salesforce Developer will be part of a team developing the application on the Salesforce platform. This position will report to the Salesforce Systems Manager and work alongside the rest of the Salesforce team, as well as other staff in the Information Services team and business departments, to realize the full capability of the Salesforce CRM platform. Position will be responsible for design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for design, development, testing, and change management. This individual will drive highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the Elderplan organization including building applications on the Salesforce platform and supporting integrations with Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Salesforce platform in a technical role is required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or CRM Analytics is preferred.

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a health plan or managed care setting preferred.A minimum of one (1) Salesforce credential.

  • Knowledge of browser languages and experience working with websites.

  • Knowledge of JavaScript and all forms of HTML.

  • Experience with the Google Marketing suite.

  • Understand how to develop and deploy custom business logic and custom interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform (flow, Apex).

  • Good understanding and experience with using the declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform and know when to use programmatic methods.

  • Solid knowledge of the Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Cloud.

  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.

  • Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team, able to multi-process and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.

  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.

  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Health Cloud, FSL, DocuSign, DemandTools, CTI integrations and REST APIs are a plus
• Previous experience working in an agile environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools a plus
